The opening competition day at the 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships in Montemor-o-Velho produced the names of the first paracanoe finalists. The fastest performances of the day were recorded by representatives of Ukraine, Great Britain, Georgia and Individual Neutral Athletes-A.

Montemor-o-Velho will be in the spotlight of the canoeing community from Thursday to Sunday, as it hosts the 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships. Athletes from 39 European countries have arrived in Portugal, including numerous Olympic medalists as well as medal winners from World and European Championships.
