Paddle Europe will hold its 18th Ordinary Congress on 3 April 2027 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Congress is the highest governing body of Paddle Europe and is responsible for key decisions relating to elections, finance, membership, strategy and governance.
This page serves as the central public source of information relating to the Congress, including official notices, key dates, programme and agenda information, election information and Congress outcomes.
Each Member National Federation may appoint up to three delegates, provided more than one gender is represented. Otherwise, the maximum number of delegates is two. Each Member National Federation is entitled to one vote.
Delegate registrations, including identification of the designated voting delegate, must be completed no later than 17 February 2027.
A quorum requires more than 50% of Members to be present. Proxy voting is not permitted.
Member National Federations are invited to submit nominations for the positions to be elected at the 2027 Congress.
Applications must be signed by the President or Secretary General of the nominating National Federation and be accompanied by the candidate's profile. A National Federation may nominate only one candidate for each position. Each Board member must be at least 18 years of age.
Candidacies must be submitted through the Paddle Europe Events Platform. Elections will take place at the Congress by secret ballot in accordance with the Paddle Europe Statutes.
Member National Federations wishing to submit motions for consideration by Congress may do so in accordance with the Paddle Europe Statutes. Motions submitted by Members and proposals to amend the Statutes constitute Special Business and require a two-thirds majority of the votes cast.
The same deadline applies to proposals for amendments to the Paddle Europe Statutes.
A secure, password-protected area of the Paddle Europe Events Platform is available exclusively to Member National Federations.
National Federations requiring access credentials should contact congress@paddle-europe.eu using their official National Federation email address.
The programme remains subject to amendment.
The agenda is indicative and may be amended as necessary. The final agenda and accompanying Congress documentation will be distributed in accordance with the Paddle Europe Statutes.
A separate Congress Information Bulletin containing accommodation, transportation, airport transfer, visa support and other practical information will be distributed by the Host Organising Committee in December 2026.
Additional practical information will be published on this page as it becomes available.
Official Congress communications, updates and public documentation will be published on this page. Documents intended exclusively for Member National Federations will be available through the secure Paddle Europe Events Platform.
