The 2026 Paddle Europe Canoe Polo Cup I gets underway this weekend in Thury-Harcourt, France, bringing together many of Europe's strongest national teams in the first major international test of the season. The competition, taking place on 20–21 June, features Senior Men, Senior Women, U21 Men and U21 Women categories and serves as an important benchmark ahead of the 2026 ICF Canoe Polo World Championships later this year in Duisburg

With less than one week remaining before the start of the 2026 Paddle Europe Canoe Marathon Championships in Pitești, Romania, Paddle Europe spoke with two of the sport's most prominent athletes: reigning World Champion Mads Brandt Pedersen of Denmark and reigning European Champion Anna Sletsjøe of Norway.

The third stop of the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup brought the world's best paddlers to Augsburg, Germany, where Europe once again demonstrated its remarkable depth and strength across all canoe slalom disciplines.

The 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships concluded in Montemor-o-Velho, with the Hungarian team once again winning the highest number of medals among all participating nations.  Portuguese star Fernando Pimenta was crowned European Champion in the last Race of the Championships.
