Kayak heats and four team titles open Épinal 2026

The 2026 Paddle Europe Junior and Under 23 Slalom Championships begin on Wednesday at the Base Natur’O in Épinal, with a packed opening  program dedicated entirely to kayak slalom.
The first competition day will feature more than 200 individual starts across four kayak heats, followed by 50 plus team runs in four direct finals. By the end of the day, the first four European titles of the Championships will already have been awarded for kayak Junior and Under 23.

Épinal is ready to welcome the next generation of European canoe slalom stars for the 2026 Paddle Europe Junior and Under 23 Slalom Championships, with five competition days scheduled from 5 to 9 August.
A total of 325 athletes, representing 29 national federations plus AIN athletes,together with 125 delegation staff members, combines a total number of accredited 450 team members to this championships.
