2026 PADDLE EUROPE SPRINT, PARACANOE AND MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 11.6.2026
The 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters Championships will take place from 11 to 14 June 2026 in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal, at the renowned High Performance Centre, one of Europe’s leading flatwater canoeing venues.
This edition marks a major milestone for European canoeing, as it will be the first time that Masters athletes are included as part of an official Paddle Europe Championships, competing alongside senior sprint and paracanoe athletes in a unified event.
The championships will bring together Europe’s top athletes across sprint disciplines, alongside paracanoe competitors and masters paddlers, highlighting both elite performance and lifelong participation in the sport. Races will be held in a structured, lane-based format over standard sprint distances, emphasizing speed, technique, and precision.
Organised by the Portuguese Canoe Federation in cooperation with Paddle Europe, the event aims to deliver a competition of the highest standard, combining sporting excellence, inclusivity, and outstanding organisation. With its strong international track record, Montemor-o-Velho once again positions itself as a key hub for European canoeing, offering a memorable experience for athletes, teams, and spectators alike.
