The Last Masters European Titles in Montemor-o-Velho go to Portugal and France 14.6.2026

On the final day of the 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships, the last races of the Masters competition were held. The programme featured the final two official championships events, with European titles going to Portugal’s Nuno Henriques in the MK1 45–49 10,000 m event and the French duo During–Beaumont in the MK2 40–44 200 m event.


The French K2 of François During and Maxime Beaumont, competing in the 40–44 age category, became European champions over 200 metres. They finished 0.030 seconds ahead of Taras Valko and Aliaksei Karastsiakius (AIN), while the bronze medal went to Germany’s Marc Rossler and Uwe Heidler.

In the afternoon, the 10,000 m races followed. In the 45–49 age category, Portuguese kayaker Nuno Henriques claimed victory, completing the course in 46:00.454. Germany’s Klaus Gieres finished second, while Italy’s Stefano Russo took third place.

In addition to the two official championship events, the final day of the championships also saw victories in various age groups for representatives of Ukraine, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as for multinational crews.
