2027 Paddle Europe Junior & U23 Slalom Championships

Hosted at one of Europe’s most iconic canoe slalom venues, the Championships will bring together the best young athletes from across the continent in the Junior and Under 23 categories.
Tacen has a long and proud tradition in international canoe slalom, regularly welcoming top-level competitions and some of the world’s best paddlers. In 2027, the venue will once again become a stage for the next generation of European talent, offering five days of exciting racing, development and high-level performance in Slovenia’s capital.

European paddlers once again played a leading role on the world stage as the 2026 Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships came to an end in Poznań, Poland.

Across the 36 World Championship events, European athletes – including Individual Neutral Athletes within the Paddle Europe continental representation – collected 71 medals: 26 gold, 20 silver and 25 bronze.
