18.5.2026
Organised under the Open Canoe Slalom Cup format, the series continues to confirm its role as one of the most important competitive platforms for both established international athletes and emerging European talent. The circuit follows the ICF ranking race model, with one qualification run and one final run at each venue, rewarding both consistency and high-level performances across the season.
The 2026 calendar remains divided into two competitive blocks:
Part 1
La Seu d’Urgell (ESP) – 7-8 March
Pau (FRA) – 14-15 March
Markkleeberg (GER) – 10-12 April
Liptovsky Mikulas (SVK) – 2-3 May
Tacen (SLO) – 9-10 May
Part 2
Krakow (POL) – 16-17 May
Bratislava (SVK) – 31 July-1 August
Prague (CZE) – 14-16 August
Cesson Sévigné (FRA) – 29-30 August
According to the competition regulations, the overall classification combines the best result from Part 1 with the best three results from Part 2, meaning that the Krakow round represented a crucial opportunity to begin building a stronger title campaign.
In K1 Men, Slovakia’s David Skubik now leads the standings with 115 points after combining strong consistency with a victory in Krakow. Poland’s Mateusz Polaczyk remains close behind on 104 points, while fellow Polish athlete Michal Pasiut sits third with 92 points.
The K1 Women category currently sees Poland’s Dominika Brzeska at the top with 99 points following an excellent Krakow performance. Ukraine’s Viktoriia Us holds second with 97 points, while Australia’s Sarah Crosbee remains firmly in contention in third place with 91 points.
In C1 Men, Poland’s Kacper Sztuba moved into the overall lead with 102 points after victory in Krakow, ahead of Slovakia’s Samuel Krajci on 98 points and another Polish paddler, Szymon Sowizral, on 91 points.
The C1 Women standings remain extremely tight. Switzerland’s Fia Buetikofer leads with 91 points, while Ukraine’s Viktoriia Us continues an impressive double-category campaign in second with 87 points. Slovakia’s Petra Soskova currently occupies third place with 83 points.
One of the clearest trends emerging from the first half of the season is the strong depth of the Polish and Slovak teams, with both nations consistently placing multiple athletes inside the top rankings across all four Olympic disciplines. Ukraine has also shown remarkable consistency, particularly through Viktoriia Us and the Horlova sisters, while several experienced international names continue to appear selectively throughout the circuit.
Despite the current standings, the overall battle remains far from decided. With Bratislava, Prague and Cesson Sévigné still to come, the second half of the season is expected to intensify considerably as athletes begin targeting the decisive counting races that will determine the final 2026 Paddle Europe Slalom Cup champions.
